Do you have a flare for art? Do you want the chance for your work to be nationally recognised? If so, you’ll be pleased to hear that there is an exciting new Sam Learning competition, in which your work could be displayed all over the UK!
To enter, you need to design a relevant poster to promote the Sam Learning GO! site. If you aren’t aware of the website, ask Mrs Smith, the ICT teacher for your login to the site, and get online to check it out. Also, it will help you greatly on actually creating the poster, and the site can be useful for revision as well.

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that the prizes for January, February and March can be awarded this month. Having checked with the Jack Petchey Foundation, only one student per month can receive an award and as three students were involved in a charitable act, they have to be awarded a month each. On Saturday 16th, an exciting Art Masterclass took place at Notley, along with other Gifted and Talented events. A helicopter, hundreds of banners, screaming staff, excited students and a really surreal afternoon… This week school was off for the afternoon as X factor finalist (and ex Notley student) Olly Murs and his mentor Simon Cowell visited Notley High. The year 7’s and students from Braintree Sixth Form greeted Olly and Simon as they arrived in Simon’s helicopter. Our cheerleading squad performed their winning routine as Olly and Simon posed for photos and signed autographs for the excited crowd. The rest of the school was then treated to a performance of ‘Superstition’ by Olly.
As Olly ended his performance he told the students to "believe... (Read More)
