The Humanities Faculty includes Citizenship, Geography, History and Philosophy, Ethics & Religion Departments. There are a suite of specialist Humanities classrooms and a large team of specialist teachers.

At Key Stage 3 all students study all four humanities subjects. At Key Stage 4, students are able to opt to continue their studies to GCSE.

Braintree Sixth Form has a Subject Group Leader responsible for Humanities. A broad range of both AS/A2 and International Baccalaureate courses can be studied.
