ICT Suites

The school has invested a large amount of money in ICT across the school this summer. We now have 12 ICT suites available for use, containing

• Over 230 Intel Core 2 Duo machines
• Laser printers in every ICT room
• Colour printers both Inkjet and Laser
  Scanners
• Digital cameras and camcorders

These are available for pupils and staff to use. As well as desktop computers, students also use laptops in lessons such as Maths, Science, MFL, Geography, History and RE. Laptops are also available during the Breakfast Club. There are 7 mobile Lapsafes each containing 16 laptops and a wireless printer.

Almost all ICT rooms have Interactive Whiteboards and all have LCD projectors.

Three technicians support the maintenance and development of the network and also assist, when needed, in lessons.
