Notley High School and Braintree Sixth Form are delighted to announce that they have been given a grant of £2100 by Braintree District Council’s GreenHeart Award. The award aims to improve the appearance of the local area, increase community involvement and encourage pride in the community. The grant also encourages a sense of belonging and supports Braintree District Council’s GreenHeart campaign.
On Saturday 20 November 2010, Notley High School was host to four TANGO master classes in English, Science and Technology. The TANGO (Tabor, Alec, Notley Gifted Organisation) partnership aims to provide extension and enrichment activities for able and talented students in both primary and secondary schools within the Braintree area.
This year, for the first time, the chairs of governors and headteachers at the four schools in Braintree and Coggeshall agreed to issue a joint press release about GCSE results. This decision indicates our shared commitment to work together to secure the best possible outcomes for all the students in our area.
