Exam Results 2007

We return from the summer break delighted with the GCSE results achieved by the outgoing Year 11’s. 64% of students gained five or more grade C’s or above, whilst 54% achieved reached 5 or more including English and maths.

Notley Goes F1 Racing

On June 19th, fifteen year 9 students had the unique opportunity to visit Silverstone race circuit to watch the big Formula 1 testing session as part of their English studies.

 

Carnegie Book Award 2007

Thursday, 10 May 2007.

18 students from Year Seven have been selected to take part in the Carnegie Shadow Reading Group. They will be reading and reviewing all 6 books that have been short listed for the prestigious Carnegie Book Award. Our shadow group will try and predict which book will win the Carnegie Medal on the 21st June 2007.

 

Ski Trip a Great Success!

Over half-term, 37 of our year 10 11 students, together with 8 members of staff, made the 800 mile trek across Europe to Flachau in Austria for the annual senior school ski trip. 

Stagecoach arrives at Notley High!

We are excited to announce thatStagecoach, the worlds largest part-time theatre school is coming to Braintree and classes will take place at Notley High School from Saturday 22ndSeptember 2007!

 

Notley through to regional finals

It has just been announced that Notley High School Year 9 pupils have successfully gone through to the regional finals of the Magistrates Court Mock Trial Competition!

Thursday 8th February 2007 - School Closure

The school is was officially closed on Thursday 8th February due to our one day of snow so far this year. Friday 9th is a non-pupil day so students should return to school as normal on Monday 19th Feb - have a nice extended half-term break!
