Red Nose Day 2005

Notley really got into the spirit of Red Nose Day 2005. Not just red noses, but just anything else that could be dyed red, combined with lunchtime aerobics and a non-uniform day ensured a very entertaining day was had by all! 

UNICEF Day for Change

Notley will once again be taking part in this national event, which raises millions of pounds each year to improve the lives of children in the Developing World. 

Battle of the Bands

Electric Revolution, a band formed by four of our pupils has rocked its way to win a battle of the bands competition in Newmarket. Rhys Andrews (lead guitar), Joe McCarty (lead vocals and guitar), Callum Gildart (bass guitar) and Max Smethurst (drums) beat off 15 other bands to win the contest. Their prize is a two-day session in a recording studio in Norwich.

 

Notley High Prom 2005

Monday, 16 May 2005.

Monday 16th May saw the gorgeous and fabulous out in force again at Notley for our Prom Night. Cadillacs, Aston Martins, Stretch Limos (can those things get any bigger?!) and even a Hot Dog Van brought our year 11s to the school in style for their big night. A glittering occasion as ever, despite the rain.

 

Ski Notley Online

Well, despite delays on the ferry and terrible driving conditions through France, 74 students and staff managed to get to Austria over half-term for the yearly ski trip. 

Walking on Eyre

Former Notley High pupil Nicky Eyre found himself on the bench in the Spurs Vs Crystal Palace Barclays Premiership clash on Saturday 22nd after a series of events that finally shot him into the limelight. 

International School Award

We are delighted to report that the school has been re-accredited with the International School Award. Our new accreditation runs from 1 September 2005 to 31 August 2008.

Teechers

The Notley High School Production 2005 - "Teechers" by Jon Godber - has now finished its three day run to unanimous acclaim. Well done everyone, especially the director Mrs Pollard.

Free OS Maps for Year 7

By this half term your child will be given a free 1:25 000 scale Explorer Ordnance Survey map by their school. These maps are being issued to year 7/primary 7 pupils to help them to develop their map-reading skills. 

Sainsbury's Active Kids
