As you may have heard, a suspect device was dug up by the Sixth Form construction workers on Friday evening. As a precaution the school was evacuated and the police informed.
Following the safe removal of what turned out to be an unexploded WWII artillery shell from the construction site, the area has now been declared safe by the authorities. As a result, all planned activities such as SATs on Saturday and Stagecoach will continue as normal.
