Year 11 Revision Day

Year 11s started this half term by getting prepared for their public exams this summer. With mock exams approaching quickly, students spent the day focusing on effective revision skills for the key subjects of Maths, English and Science, as well as taking part in a workshop with The Life Skills Company.

Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form were pleased to host Kamal Hyman for a series of motivational speeches which he delivered to Year 13, Year 12 and Year 10 on October 17.

Braintree District Community Safety Partnership will be holding four information and awareness sessions for parents and carers of children and young people of secondary school age and those with children in Year 6.

Open Evening 2017 Creates a Buzz!

There was a real buzz of excitement around school last week at our annual Open Evening. The evening was very well attended by parents and carers considering sending their son/daughter to Notley High School in September 2018.

Essex Youth Service together with the Essex Youth Strategy Groups have commissioned a Child Sexual Exploitation awareness project, Chelsea’s Choice.

Marathon Girls!

On Sunday 8 October 2017, Year 13 students Leah Roby Smith and Ella Jones ran the Royal Parks half marathon in London to raise money for the charity Scope.

Respect Project 2017 – Year 9

Fourteen of our Year 9 students were selected by the Heads of House to participate in this year’s Respect Project which is voluntarily run by The Essex Boys & Girls Club in Chelmsford.
