The school will be having a non-uniform day on Friday, 16 November 2012 to raise money for Children in Need.

Children in Need provide grants to projects in the UK which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged. They are local to people in all corners of the UK and support small and large organisations which empower children and extend their life choices

Students will be asked to make a £1 donation, but if they wish to contribute more they may do so. If you would like your child to bring in a contribution from you this would be acceptable also. Throughout the day there will also be a range of activities arranged by Student Voice for students to take part in so we recommend that students bring a small amount of change with them.

We hope that you are happy for your child to participate. Donations will be collected by tutors during morning registration.

Please note that students are not permitted to wear items that are inappropriate for the school environment, and that for health and safety reasons, the usual rules regarding jewellery and other accessories still apply. Hair must not be dyed an unnatural colour, even temporarily. No shorts or revealing clothes will be permitted. Any students wearing such clothing will be sent home to change.
