On Tuesday 2 March the Wind Band performed for the members of Gosfield Senior Circle.  This was our first concert this year which showcased lots of new music.

 

As always, there had been lots of rehearsals taking place prior to the concert, but even so it is always quite a challenge to do a concert, so soon after Christmas, that requires 10 pieces!

Highlights of the concert include “You Can’t Stop The Beat” from the musical “Hairspray”; “The Best of The Beatles” and “The Music of James Bond”.

The band has had connections with Gosfield Senior Circle since 2004 and has performed for them almost every year.  We are always guaranteed a warm welcome and everyone enjoys the concert.  My sincere thanks go to all the members of the band for a successful concert.
