On Wednesday 20^th June, Notley High School Athletics teams travelled the short distance to Tabor Science College for the annual District Sports Competition. Luckily the weatherman looked after us and we were treated to some sunshine for a change!! All competitors performed really well on the day with many achieving outstanding individual performances and personal bests.

The Year 10 and 11 Girls’ Team came in 2^nd place overall which is a marvellous achievement in a very competitive district.

We are delighted to announce that we now have a new Head Boy, Head Girl and deputies.

Head boy is Omar Ally and the Head girl is Kirsty Ayre.

Deputy Head Girls are Louise Lazell and Daisy Longden

The students had to get through a rigorous interview process which involved an application letter, speaking in front of the year group and being interviewed by Mrs Park and senior members of staff.  Now the team will have many important duties to help the school run smoothly including organising prefects, speaking at functions, guiding student voice and helping younger students in the school.

Congratulations to the senior team and well done to all the applicants, who were of a very high standard this year.

This morning we welcomed Lu Yifan, Chen Yao and Hu Xiujuan to Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form.  The three English speaking Chinese teachers will be in school until 14 July 2012 whilst participating in a Teaching and Learning Programme.

 Jin Tian zao shang, wo men ying jie le Lu Yifan Chen Yao he Hu Xiujuan lai dao Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form.  Zhe san wei hui shuo ying yu de zong guo lao shi jiang hui zai zhe suo xue xiao can jia jiao xue ke cheng zhi zhi 2012 nian 7 yue 14 ri.
