Child Development - Introduction

Child Development can be studied at Key Stage 4. This Cambridge Nationals course focuses on child development from conception to the age of 5.
Students will be assessed on their understanding of:

Parental responsibility
Antenatal care and preparation for birth
Pregnancy
Birth
Postnatal checks
Environment conditions for development
Childhood illnesses
Child safety
Equipment and nutritional needs of children
the physical, intellectual and social development of a child.
