Welcome to the exams section of the website and allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mrs Natalie Musson and I am the Examinations Officer. My role is to organise and run all exams held in school including GCSEs, Year 10 and 11 Mock exams, Asset Language Exams, A Level and IB Exams. I liaise closely with exam boards and government assessment agencies to ensure that we carry out exams in line with the national guidelines.
I have a fantastic and experienced team of exam invigilators who come in to supervise and administer exams. The invigilators are there not only to supervise and enforce exam conditions, but to maintain a calm atmosphere to enable all students to perform to the best of their ability.
GCSE exams take place at the end of courses. GCSE Core Science exams take place at the end of Year 10. All other GCSE exams take place in Year 11. In Braintree Sixth Form, IB and A Level exams take place in the main exam season in May/June each year.
Exam season is a particularly stressful time for students, parents and carers but the following links should answer any questions you may have. Should you need to contact me with any concerns, please do so on 01376 556303 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
