    Extra Curricular Activities

Extra-Curricular activities are a vibrant, emboldened and integral part of life at Notley High School and Braintree Sixth Form; they help to build self-esteem and confidence, provide valuable social opportunities and allow students to build upon their learning in class in a manner beyond that of the National Curriculum.

We offer a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities beyond the classroom, including:

  • World Challenge

  • Charity Work

  • Chess club

  • Duke of Edinburgh Award

  • Field Studies

  • Theatre trips
  • Modern Language Residential Visits (French and Spanish)

  • Maths Challenges

  • Faraday Challenges

  • Brilliant Club

  • Ski trips

  • Sports (clubs, fixtures, trips)
  • Young Enterprise

  • Mock Interviews

  • Musical Theatre

  • Choir

  • Work Experience.

Our Subject staff give generously of their time, and go above and beyond to offer this broad range of both cultural and subject based enrichment.

We do encourage all students to get involved.  Please see the links below for more information.
