Expo 1 and 2 (Set 1 and 2)
Expo 1: Module 4 Where you live/location/ facilities /where you go in town/ opinions of your town.
Expo 2: Module 1 Personal Description/talking about past activities.
Expo 2: Module 4 Describing your diet/ buying and ordering food..
Expo 2: Module 6 Friends/ pocket money/plans for the future.
Set 1 and 2: Extra module.

Year 9

Metro 3 and Expo 2 (Set 1 and 2)
Metro 3: Module 4 Healthy eating/sports.
Expo 2: Module 5 Holidays using past, present and future tenses.
Expo 2: Module 3 Invitation/ clothes/ fashion/shopping
GCSE Bridging course after Easter.

Year 10

Topic Area 1 Home and local area – one speaking and writing controlled assessment.
1a Life in the home, friends and relationships.
1b Local area, facilities and getting around.
Topic Area 2 Health and sport – one speaking and writing controlled assessment
2a Sport, outdoor and pursuits and healthy lifestyle.
2b Food and drink as aspects of culture and health.
Topic Area 3 Leisure and entertainment (includes online)
3a Socialising, special occasions and festivals.
3b TV, films and music.

Year 11

Topic Area 4 Travel and the wider world – one speaking and writing controlled assessment.
4a Holidays and exchanges.
4b Environmental, cultural and social issues.
Topic Area 5 Education and work – one speaking and writing controlled assessment.
5a School life in the UK and in the target language country or community.
5b Work experience, future study and jobs, working abroad.
