NEMAT Director of School Improvement

Required from September 2018 an exceptional individual to work with the Executive Headteacher, Director of Quality Assurance and Senior Leadership teams to develop the quality of teaching, learning and assessment and to develop the leadership capacity to facilitate school improvement across the Trust.

Catering Assistant

Required September 2018

Experienced and flexible staff are required for September 2018, for 21 hours per week, Monday to Friday term time only, to work in a busy catering team. 

Teacher Training with Mid Essex ITT

Mid Essex is a school-based Initial Teacher Training scheme based at Notley High School and Braintree Sixth Form.  We have over 20 years of experience and over 500 teachers have trained with us.  We currently work with 14 secondary schools across Essex and train teachers in sixteen different subjects.   In October 2017, Mid Essex ITT was inspected by Ofsted and awarded the coveted 'outstanding' status in all categories.

We offer a variety of different routes into teacher training:
  • Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (ProfGCE), accredited by the University of Greenwich
  • SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training)
  • School Direct (fee-paying)
  • School Direct (salaried)
  • Graduate Apprenticeships in teacher training
  • Assessment Only
