Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form is a school that believes that providing the best educational experience for students requires us to give our staff the time and resources to make a difference. Allocated time for a standard scale teacher is therefore usually about 80% (40 out of 50 lessons).
A Sixth Form Administrative Support Officer is required ASAP to work with the Assistant Headteacher – Key Stage 5 and provide administrative support for the Heads of College and teaching staff.
This post is for 30 hours per week term time plus inset days, plus 5 additional days to include A Level results day (and the day after) and GCSE results day (and the day after). The salary for this role is LGS Band 3, points 17 - 21 (actual starting salary £13,182 per annum, subject to cost of living increment).
Mid Essex is a school-based Initial Teacher Training scheme based at Notley High School and Braintree Sixth Form. We have over 20 years of experience and over 500 teachers have trained with us. We currently work with 14 secondary schools across Essex and train teachers in sixteen different subjects. In October 2017, Mid Essex ITT was inspected by Ofsted and awarded the coveted 'outstanding' status in all categories.
