Notley Template Slideshow 2025 1 (34).mp4Our Year 7 students had the opportunity to watch an engaging and thought-provoking road safety play, funded by the Essex Safer Roads Partnership. The performance explored some of the risks young people face around roads, highlighting the dangers of distractions such as mobile phones, the importance of making safe choices, and how peer influence can affect decision-making. Students were encouraged to think about how seemingly small choices can have significant consequences. The play reinforced the importance of staying alert, assessing risks carefully, and having the confidence to make safe decisions, even when friends may be encouraging them to do otherwise. We hope the performance has sparked conversations at home about road safety and responsible behaviour. As our students become increasingly independent, understanding risk and making safe choices are vital life skills that will help keep them safe now and in the future. 3 Likes

The girls played some outstanding netball against strong opposition from local schools, finishing in an impressive 3rd place, with only narrow defeats preventing an even higher finish. Miss Crow's Player of the Tournament was awarded to Summer for her excellent interceptions and turnovers, while Miss Thomas' Player of the Tournament went to Ava for her incredible shooting and fantastic leadership throughout the competition. A brilliant team effort from all involved. Well done, girls! 12 Likes
Essex Cup Success for Year 7 ⚽️ On Wednesday 23rd September our Year 7s played their first school football match together as a team after only a couple of weeks of training. They competed so well and came out victorious with a 1-0 win which sees them through to the next round of the cup. The whole team were excellent which made it difficult to choose a player of the match, however, it was awarded to Teddy G for his moment of magic which scored the goal that saw them clinch the victory. Every player represented the school in the best possible way. Well done to all players involved, we look forward to seeing this team develop in upcoming weeks/months and are excited for their next match. 14 Likes
