    20 students from Years 11 and 12 went to the salubrious surroundings of the London Cruise Terminal in Tilbury to hear a series of talks by real-life scientists and engineers working in the chemical field.

    On Wednesday 10 October 2018, ten Year 8 students attended the Young Essex Assembly (YEA) Conference at Chelmsford City Racecourse. The students were put into mixed groups with members of other schools and worked alongside a YEA ambassador

  • PE fixtures

    The PE department have had a great start to the new academic year.  The Year 7 basketball team played well and earnt a good solid win during their first fixture of the season. A great evening of netball coaching has taken place.  The Year 7 football team played well and earned a 3-2 victory in the Essex Cup.  We held our first inter-house competition of the year – a cross country event.  88 staff and students took part completing 3/4 laps.  Well done to all involved.

  • Deadly Distraction

    The whole of Year 7 watched a road safety play on Wednesday 3 October 2018. This was part of Safer Essex Roads Partnership’s (SERP) road safety programme and delivered to highlight key road safety messages at a time when students will be making independent journeys.
