Nominated by a student: Kayleigh is such a considerate and caring person; even if she would not admit it herself, she is a wonder to be around and her constant positivity is infectious.
During March 2019, the GCSE geographers completed both their human and physical fieldwork trips in preparation for their upcoming exams where students will answer questions about the fieldwork they completed over the two days.
The annual Spring Concert took place on Tuesday 26 March 2019. This was a lovely evening of music with many strong and memorable performances. There were performances from all the school ensembles and many soloists.
On Wednesday 27 March 2019, a practitioner from the Royal Shakespeare Company visited the school to work with two groups of Year 11 students.
On Monday 25 March 2019, two students from Emmanuel College, Cambridge – Tom and Sabrina – visited the school to talk with a group of Years 8 and 9 students. They spoke about life at the University of Cambridge, how they are taught, what they do away from their studies and how to apply.
On Wednesday 20 March 2019, fourteen Year 10 students visited the University of Cambridge to take part in a Physics Experience Day.
On Monday 18 March 2019, six members of Parks 3 visited Essex Dementia Care in Braintree. Essex Dementia Care is a charity that runs sessions for people with dementia for entertainment, friendship and support.
